The Stamou family has sailed the Greek islands since 1995. Long before there was a company, there were summers on the water, friends on board and a habit of looking after guests properly.
That background gives us something most charter companies cannot offer: real local knowledge. Which bay is calm when the meltemi blows, which harbour has space on a Saturday in August, which taverna is worth the walk up the hill.
Since 2004 DMS Sailing has grown steadily, one yacht and one returning guest at a time. Our values have stayed the same: hospitality in the Greek islands, delivered by people who know the boats and the sea.
From family summers to a charter house.

The sea is what kept us together.
I grew up in the water. Ours was a family that loved to travel, and both my parents were practical, technical people, so as children we were always building or fixing something. Over the years we have all worked in different fields, but the sea is what has always held us together.
It is a privilege to turn what you love into your work. At the size DMS Sailing has reached, I can no longer call it a hobby. It is demanding work, and a challenge we enjoy, because we grow every year. Today we are one of the leading operators in Greece, with a strong presence in Athens and yachts at other bases around the country.
We have deep respect for the sea, and we believe in being consistent, because the responsibility is real. A holiday on the water is one of the best things Greece has to offer, and Greece is its people. So whatever our size, we want everything we do to feel human.
Our fleet was once larger than it is today. That was a choice: we would rather focus on people than on numbers. Yachts are yachts. Everyone expects them to be clean, well kept and working, and they are. What matters most is how we treat you, with courtesy, generosity and professionalism.
I know some of this can sound like marketing. Our work, and the years behind it, are the best proof we can offer.
